Eynesbury College Academy of English (ECAE) is a modern and dynamic educational institution providing high quality programs in an environment that encourages students to achieve excellence in their studies. Programs include Academic English, Intensive General English, English for Academic Purposes, English for Business and Management, English for Hospitality and Tourism and English for Vocational Studies.

ECAE is located in the heart of Adelaide, in the centre of Adelaide's central business district and directly opposite the popular Central Market and Chinatown restaurant and shopping precinct.

Students have full access to modern, well-equipped teaching and self access, facilities which include:

• Fully equipped library including books, magazines, web resources and ELT self access materials
• Computer laboratories
• Audio/Visual equipment
• Kitchen facilities

Eynesbury International provides a Mandarin speaking student advisor and a full time student counsellor.

ECAE provides a pathway to all of Eynesbury International's academic programs which in turn provide pathways to the three South Australian universities. These programs include:

• International Senior Secondary School
• Foundation Studies Program
• Degree Transfer Program
• Eynesbury Institute of Business and Technology

ECAE recommendations of students' English proficiency are also accepted by International College of Hotel Management (ICHM), the Kranz International College, Diploma of Nursing and certain TAFE and Flinders University courses.

Courses and Levels Available

Depending on the ELICOS course being undertaken, the following levels are available:

• Intensive General English (Beginner – Advanced)
• English for Academic Purposes (Pre-Intermediate to Advanced)
  • High School Studies (Bridging Program)
    Students who need to improve their English and/or their academic background prior to entry into High School Studies (Years 10 to 12) should take an ELICOS High School Bridging Program from the Eynesbury College Academy of English.
  • University Foundation Studies
  • University Studies (Intermediate to Advanced)
• English for Business and Management (Intermediate to Advanced)
• Mixed Program
  Eynesbury Institute of Business and Technology (EIBT) offers a mixed program for international students whose English language proficiency is IELTS 5.0 or IBT LEVEL equivalent. The Mixed Program comprises 12 weeks of English language studies (AES100 Academic English Studies) and one Certificate IV or Diploma subject depending on the level of English achieved.
• English for Hospitality and Tourism (Intermediate to Advanced)
• English for Vocational Studies (Intermediate to Advanced)

Total: 25 hours ‘face to face’ per week

Study Tours

Study Tours combine language development with excursions and social activities for special interest groups, high schools, colleges and universities.

Specialised tours may have an academic, tourism, cultural or sporting orientation.

High quality, culturally sensitive homestay accommodation can be arranged for single or groups of students.
