Eynesbury offers a number of scholarships to assist international students with their studies. All scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit.
Scholarships are offered to non-Australian citizens and non-permanent residents only. Unless stated otherwise, the cost of pre-course English language is not included in the scholarships.
Eynesbury offers a scholarship scheme for international students from the People’s Republic of China and Malaysia undertaking study at Eynesbury International between 01 July 2008 and 30 June 2009.
Up to 6 Scholarships (3 to citizens of the People’s Republic of China and 3 to citizens of Malaysia) may be available to international students who are citizens of The People’s Republic of China or Malaysia undertaking study at Eynesbury International. Students must be enrolled in either the South Australian Universities’ Foundation Studies Program or the Diploma of Business or Diploma of Computing & Information Technology for which visas have been packaged with The University of Adelaide undergraduate degree program. The Scholarships comprise 50% of the tuition fees for the normal duration of the Eynesbury program (a maximum of 1 year).
Application Process
There is no separate application process for the scholarships. An application for admission to Eynesbury International in between 01 July 2008 and 30 June 2009 packaged with The University of Adelaide will constitute an application for a scholarship. All applications for admission consistent with the eligibility and selection criteria will be considered automatically for a scholarship offer of a scholarship will be included in the Letter of Offer. No application fee is required to accompany the application for admission.
The deadline for accepting a scholarship is 4 weeks after receiving the offer. If the intake is less than 4 weeks from the date of offer, then the deadline is 1 week after the offer.
Conditions
- Each Scholarship will comprise a 50% tuition fee waiver for the normal duration of the program, i.e. a maximum of one year.
- Up to three scholarships awarded each year, 1 to citizens of the People’s Republic of China and 2 to citizens of Malaysia.
- Scholarships will be awarded strictly on academic merit on a competitive basis according to the minimum academic entry requirements for the South Australian Universities’ Foundation Studies Program, Diploma of Business and Diploma of Computing & Information Technology as published in the Eynesbury International prospectus and on the Eynesbury International website. Extra-curricular achievements will not be considered.
- Candidates who have already commenced studies at Eynesbury International at the time of application will not be considered.
- Candidates must be citizens of either the People’s Republic of China or Malaysia with the exception of the following citizenship exclusions:
- <>dual citizens of Australia and New Zealand;
- <>citizens of Hong Kong and;
- <>citizens of Macau.
- Candidates must have their visa for study at Eynesbury International packaged with The University of Adelaide undergraduate degree prior to commencing studies at Eynesbury International.
- Candidates are required to enrol at Eynesbury International as "international students" and must maintain "international student" status for the duration of their enrolment at Eynesbury International. Candidates who obtain Australian permanent resident status during the course of their Eynesbury International studies will forfeit their scholarship.
- Scholarships are available for the normal duration of the program, i.e. a maximum of one year, subject to satisfactory progress (i.e. pass all subjects at minimum Pass level). Extensions beyond the normal duration of the program are not available.
- All successful recipients will be required to pay 50% of the current tuition fees for their academic program prior to commencing study at Eynesbury International. The Scholarship will apply to the remaining 50% of the tuition fees.
- All successful recipients will be required to pay Overseas Student Health Cover for the full duration of the academic program at Eynesbury International.
- Successful recipients requiring preparatory English language courses prior to commencement of their academic program must undertake those studies at their own cost.
- Scholarships under this scheme cover study at Eynesbury International only. This scholarship does not cover any tuition fees at the University of Adelaide.
- Scholarships holders must commence study at Eynesbury International between 01 July 2008 and 30 June 2009.
- Obtaining this scholarship does not guarantee a place at The University of Adelaide.
- Students who fail to meet the entry requirements for admission to a University of Adelaide degree will retain their scholarship for the academic program at Eynesbury International subject to satisfactory progress.

Flinders University and Eynesbury offer a scholarship scheme for international students applying for admission to the Stage 2 of the Degree Transfer Program.
Up to 1 Scholarship is available. Students must be enrolled for which Stage 1 starts in October, 2008 and their visas packaged with a Flinders University undergraduate degree program. The Scholarships comprise 50% of the tuition fees for the Stage 2 component of the Degree Transfer Program.

All applications for admission consistent with the eligibility and selection criteria will be considered automatically for a scholarship which will be included in the Letter of Offer. - The successful recipient will be required to pay Overseas Student Health Cover for the full duration of the academic program at Eynesbury International.
- The successful recipient requiring a preparatory English language course prior to the commencement of the academic program must undertake that study at their own cost.
- The Scholarship holder must commence study at Eynesbury International in 2008 and will not be permitted to defer commencement.
- Obtaining this scholarship does not guarantee a place at Flinders University.

Up to 1 Scholarship will be available to international students undertaking study at Eynesbury International. Students must be enrolled in the South Australian Universities’ Foundation Studies Program for which visas have been packaged with the University of South Australia undergraduate degree programs listed below. The Scholarship comprises 50% of the tuition fees for the normal duration of the Eynesbury program (a maximum of 1 year).

Eynesbury offers a scholarship scheme for international students undertaking study between 01 July 2008 and 30 June 2009.
Up to 10 Scholarships will be made available from 01 July 2008 and 30 June 2009 to international students who have achieved outstanding results in their previous studies in their home country (typically 80% or A grade average) and want to start further studies at Eynesbury.
Students must be enrolled in either the Senior Secondary School (Years 10, 11, 12) Program or the South Australian Universities' Foundation Studies Program or the Certificate IV/Diploma Program. The Scholarships comprise 50% of the tuition fees for the normal duration of the Eynesbury International Program (a maximum of 1 year).
At its discretion Eynesbury reserves the right to offer 25% bursaries to students who do not meet the above criteria.

- The international student who achieves the highest academic result for Senior Secondary Year 10 at Eynesbury College will be awarded a 50% fee remission bursary for Year 11 at Eynesbury.
- The international student who achieves the highest academic result for Senior Secondary Year 11 at Eynesbury College will be awarded a 50% fee remission bursary for Year 12 at Eynesbury.
