Most comprehensive range of programs and educational pathways

Eynesbury International comprises Eynesbury College and the Eynesbury Institute of Business and Technology (EIBT). These centres of specialisation, including the Eynesbury College Academy of English, cater for both local and international students and offer the most comprehensive range of programs and educational pathways to tertiary studies at The University of Adelaide, Flinders University, the University of South Australia and the International College of Hotel Management (ICHM).

Located in fastest growing city for international students

According to Australian Government statistics, for the 12 months to August 2005, Adelaide is the fastest growing international student destination in Australia with numbers growing at 2.5 times the national average. According to statistics from the Economist Intelligence Unit, Adelaide has the lowest cost of living of any Australian mainland capital city. Eynesbury College is the largest international college in South Australia. It is the exclusive provider of the South Australian Universities’ Foundation Studies Program (FSP), Degree Transfer Program (DTP), Senior High School (Years 10, 11 and 12) and English language programs (ELICOS). As an academically oriented senior secondary college with local and international students, Eynesbury provides an excellent environment for Foundation Studies and Senior High School students to prepare for academic study in Australia. Eynesbury’s size (approximately 750 students) enables teachers and support staff to provide the personal encouragement and assistance needed by most international students, especially in their first year away from home. Students also have enough freedom to develop the independent study skills they require for university. The College comprises a modern, five-storey, multi-function complex and is located in the centre of the City of Adelaide. It is approximately a 20 minute drive from Flinders University and a 15 minute walk from the main campuses of The University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia.

Eynesbury College offers:
  • English Language (ELICOS) programs from Beginner to Advanced Levels at the Eynesbury College Academy of English. Study Tours which combine English Language development with excursions and social activities for special interest groups. High schools, colleges and universities. Specialised tours may have an academic, tourism, cultural or sporting orientation.

  • Years 10, 11, 12 Senior High School programs Australian and International students leading to the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) – a nationally and internationally recognised qualification that it is accepted/leads to all universities in Australia as long as appropriate scores are achieved.

  • The Foundation Studies Program has established an outstanding record of success since 1992 and to date 96% of students who have completed the Foundation Studies Program have gained places in tertiary institutions in South Australia or interstate. Foundation students are enrolled as university students in their target university and enjoy the library and computer facilities and other support services of both their target university and Eynesbury College. Foundation students have guaranteed places in degree programs at three South Australian universities, as long as they achieve the appropriate score.

  • A Degree Transfer Program (DTP) offering students a fast track to Flinders University degree programs. Stage 1 of the DTP is a 15 week Express Foundation Studies Program delivered by Eynesbury College. Stage 2 comprises courses from Semester 1 of undergraduate programs at Flinders University, delivered on campus at Flinders University. Students successfully completing the DTP are given entry into Semester 2 of Year 1 on campus at Flinders University.
